RugbyNet - NARRABEEN JUNIOR RUGBY CLUB

Narrabeen Tigers Rugby is a family club that prides itself on providing a safe and happy atmosphere where boys and girls can play rugby with their mates and learn some great new skills along the way.

We are affiliated with Warringah Junior Rugby Union, and are located adjacent to Warringah Seniors rugby (Pittwater Rugby Park) at North Narrabeen Reserve, North Narrabeen.

In 2011 we celebrated our 50th year in style. Our under 10's and under 11's were SJRU Premiers, and we had another big contingent of players representing Warringah across the age groups at the State Championships.

We welcome back our sponsors for 2012, in particular our Major Sponsors Bing Lee, Pittwater Tyres, RSH Electrical Supplies, Gigliotti Constructions, and Pittwater RSL. Their generosity has allowed us to replace a further 7 sets of jerseys this year, purchase new balls for each team, and provide official club training shirts for all players, coaches and managers. Under 6's to Under 18's

U6 to U17 - $150 for 1st player, $100 each for next 2 players in family. Additional family members free. While our 2 registration days have now been held, you can still register your son right up until the season begins at the end of April.

New players to the club receive Shorts & Socks at the discounted price of $20 for both. All players receive a club Training Shirt and drink bottle with registration.

A full range of Player Gear and Supporter Merchandise is available to purchase on training evenings, or from the Canterbury outlet on Ponderosa Pde at Warriewood.

Under 13s, 14s 16s - Coaches & Managers to confirm training nights with each team by mid-March.

Trial Games have been organised for March, before Easter Hoildays. Team Managers/Coaches will be in contact with each registered player to arrange pre-season training and advise on details of trial games if applicable.

All coaches coaching Under 8 and above must be accredited in SMART RUGBY. If you are not currently accredited, you must attend a SMART RUGBY COURSE ASAP to receive accreditation.

There are a number of courses held on the north side of Sydney in the first part of the year. You should aim to attend the Smart Rugby course at Warringah (front field, Rat Park), on 18th April 2012 at 6pm. Click here to register online. This is a FREE course.

Coaches Under 6 & 7 are recommended to attend the Under 6 & 7 Coach & Referee course. This is not compulsory.

Coaches Under 12 and above are recommended to take the Level 1 Coaching Course. This is not compulsory. Dates/Locations of this course can be found here.
